Yes, all challengers must raise a minimum of $100 to qualify to participate. All funds raised go toward the Campaign for Students endowed bursary which helps Seneca students with financial need.
Once you register, you will set up a personal fundraising page, add your picture, and explain why you are participating. Your personal fundraising page can be shared through social media and email to help you raise and track your progress. You will also receive a series of emails with fundraising tips.
100% of all funds raised from the Winter Challenge go toward the Campaign for Students endowed bursary. This year 171 students will receive the bursary and by fundraising we add more and more bursaries each year!

Yes. Seneca’s charitable registration number is 1079 67168 RR001. All donations over $10 will automatically receive a charitable tax receipt. If they don’t receive it to their specified email address, let them know to contact advancement@senecacollege.ca
Ice Bucket Challenge
Participants will film their challenge from home and submit their footage by February 12. A video will be available and shared with you by the end of February.
Polar Bear Dip
The in-person Polar Bear Dip will be live-streamed from Lake Seneca at King Campus on March 9, 2023. All participants will receive a live-stream link to share with donors, family and friends.
