Hi everyone:

It's that time of year - On March 3, I'll be jumping into Lake Seneca once again (assuming no algae) in support of Seneca students, and I am hoping you'll support me.

This year, I'll be jumping to help build a bursary I've established through payroll deduction to honour my grandparents and support Seneca students working to become independent musicians, songwriters or producers.

Beginning in 2021, the Donald and Sybil Long Independent Musician Bursary will be awarded to a full-time student in Seneca's Independent Music Production or Independent Songwriting and Performance program. Recipients will demonstrate financial need and a dedication to promoting collaboration with fellow artists.

This award honours my grandparents' love of music and support of the arts and public broadcasting.
