Hello, I'm Michelle :) One of Seneca's Student Navigators. I successfully took on the Polar dip challenge and bravely jumped into the chilly lake at Seneca's King campus in 2019. The feeling of doing something out of my comfort zone to help others was refreshing (more like freezing) and rewarding. And left me wanting to continue to support students and to push myself again. Staying active is an important part of my physical and mental health. So this challenge automatically drew me in.
This year I'm going to do the 5k challenge with my sidekick and biggest cheerleader, my 4 year old dog Mia. We enjoy walking daily so she's excited to join me on this adventure. I've planned a route through a beautiful York region forestation and around my local lake. Ending it with a warm swim to celebrate!
I'm accepting this challenge for Seneca student financial need. 100% of the funds I raise will go directly to Seneca's Equity, Diversity and Inclusion fund. I will be completing the 5K challenge and your support would be so meaningful to me and the students it will help.
Please use the 'Donate' button to support me!
THANK YOU for your support. And good luck to all other challengers- You're going to rock it!!
